Notorious nest predators like Raccoon, Opossum and Skunks have been proven to be a cruel and efficient hunters of turkey, quail, and pheasant nests and usually eliminate a complete clutch at one time. A common method of trapping raccoons and opossum is with a leg-hold trap commonly called a dog-proof trap.
